How red light works
Photobiomodulation is the scientific name for red light therapy. Red light near 660 nm is absorbed in the surface layers of the skin, while near-infrared near 850 nm travels deeper. Research suggests these wavelengths interact with the mitochondria, the energy-producing structures inside cells. Source: de Freitas and Hamblin, IEEE J Sel Top Quantum Electron, 2016.
More light is not better light: the response is biphasic. Every Exodus manual gives you a time, a brightness and a schedule for each device, and the limits are not interchangeable. Source: Huang et al., Dose Response, 2009.
These studies concern red and near-infrared light in general, not Exodus Strong products specifically.
