Research Library

A source for your research.
A clear view of its limits.

This library helps you find studies and follow their sources. It does not decide which treatment is right for you.

What is actually here

16,159 unique records from 26,499 imported source records. 1,973 are trial registrations, counted separately from publications. 10,340 duplicate source records were merged by PMID, DOI or PMCID. Separate publications from the same trial can still appear more than once.

Search scope

Broad upstream searches also return other laser procedures and background mentions. Search defaults to records included by the automatic PBM scope classifier, using title and source metadata. Each record page explains its inclusion or exclusion. Records without a scope classification are available through Show all records. Exact PMID, DOI and trial-identifier lookups can open records outside the default scope. It matches question intent and ranks source relevance, with completed research and reviews ahead of protocols when relevance is similar. Null and negative language is not penalized. Select Show all records to include other light technologies, background mentions and unscreened candidates; your other filters still apply. This automatic precision filter may miss relevant papers and does not establish eligibility for a systematic review.

Citation activity and unverified abstract mentions

NIH iCite citation counts, relative citation ratio (RCR), NIH RCR percentile, clinical article flags, Approximate Potential to Translate (APT) and MeSH fractions are imported by PMID. DOI-only and unmatched records stay Unknown. A known zero is shown as zero. These fields describe citation activity or subject metadata, not study quality, safety or benefit. Newer papers can have incomplete or changing metrics.

RCR compares citation rates across fields and years. NIH percentile compares RCR with NIH publications. The clinical flag is an iCite classification, not confirmation of a randomized trial. APT estimates later citation by clinical trials or guidelines, not patient benefit. Human, animal and molecular / cellular fractions describe MeSH subject terms, not participant populations. NIH citation definitions · NIH translation definitions.

Citation and RCR sorts operate within the records matching your question and filters. Default relevance ranking does not use citation metrics. Minimum-value filters exclude Unknown values only when selected. Protocol filters detect the presence of wavelength, energy density or irradiance units in an abstract. Multiple mention filters require every selected type. Mentions can describe comparators or background experiments and do not establish a verified protocol. Context snippets remain local; verify the association in the original methods. No personal schedule is provided.

Broad discovery, explicit labels

Institutional, independent and alternative sources are welcome. A publisher’s viewpoint or a funder’s identity is not used as a proxy for research quality. Study design, directness, risk of bias and uncertainty need to be evaluated at the individual finding level.

What the automatic labels mean

Study design uses publication metadata first, then title-based suggestions. Human population is not inferred merely because a study says randomized. Topic matching uses titles, abstracts and subject terms and can include background mentions. Outcome direction is always unappraised. A null-comparison language flag is only a reading lead and can refer to a secondary outcome.

Records are not recommendations

Trial registrations may have no results. Preprints have not necessarily been peer reviewed. Animal and laboratory findings are not demonstrations of human benefit. Research on specialized clinical equipment cannot establish that a home device has the same effect. No personalized answers, dose prescriptions or product-equivalence claims are generated.

Funding, correction and retraction checks

Available source funding metadata and retraction flags are retained. Missing disclosure means unknown. Crossref update relationships are retained internally, but a comprehensive Crossmark or Retraction Watch audit is not yet implemented. No retraction flag is not proof that a paper is current or unretracted.

Access and reuse

Google Scholar is linked for direct search and is not scraped. Alternative publishers are discovery destinations; their articles are not imported. Copyrighted abstracts and full articles are not republished. The free-access flag includes public trial registrations; it is not limited to open-access journal articles. Public availability does not establish a reuse license. Only facts, identifiers, source links and our own navigation text are published here.

Your privacy

This static preview searches in your browser. It has no analytics, form submissions, advertising pixels or health-profile database. Saved reading lists stay in this browser’s local storage and can be cleared. Search text in a shared URL is visible to anyone receiving that URL. External search links send the query to the destination you choose.

Commercial relationship

Exodus Strong builds this resource and sells red light devices. No paid ranking is used. A study’s presence is not an endorsement of its conclusions, authors, or our products.

Before public launch

These preview pages are marked noindex and excluded from crawling. Public launch requires choosing the final hosting path, verifying ingestion rights and operations, checking source links, and adding substantive reviewed topic summaries. Do not make thousands of automatically generated record pages indexable merely to pursue traffic. No clinician has reviewed these pages and none is represented as having done so.
