Your first session

Charge the controller Connect the controller to the USB cable, plug it in, and charge until you see three solid bars.

Assemble the mask Peel the protective plastic sticker off the back of the mask. Attach the fastening straps and push the blindfolds into the eye openings.

Switch on Connect the mask to the controller and hold the power button for two to three seconds. Red light comes on automatically and the display shows R.

Choose your mode Press M to cycle modes. Press NIR to add near infrared on top. If you are not sure what to pick, use red plus near infrared. It is the strongest setting on the mask at 81 mW/cm2.

Set brightness and time Press E for brightness, three levels, start low in your first week. Press plus and minus to set the timer.

Wear it, then store it Fasten the straps behind your head. When the session ends, switch off, wipe the inside with a damp cloth, let it cool, and put it back in its bag.

Come to it with clean, dry, bare skin. No make-up, no sunscreen, no heavy oils. Anything sitting on the surface is something the light has to get through first.

Safety, before you start

Do not exceed five minutes in one session

Five minutes is the dose this device was cleared at, and more is not better. Use it three days a week for eight weeks. Adults over 18 only.

Do not use this device if any of the following apply to you:

You are pregnant
You have a pacemaker or a heart condition
You have cancer, or any suspicious or cancerous lesion
You take medication that causes photosensitivity, including retinoids. Certain fragrances and essential oils may also be a problem. If in doubt, ask a dermatologist
You are being treated with steroid injections, or you use topical steroids
You are taking anti-inflammatory treatments, which reduce the benefit of LED therapy to zero
You have a serious health problem

Do not stare into the LEDs or at their reflection. Do not use on open wounds, or on wet or damp skin. Stop using it and tell us if itching or tingling lasts more than an hour after a session.

Complete the ritual

The mask does the work of light. What sits on your skin before and after decides how much of that work actually reaches you. Serum first, then light, then mist.

1 · Exodus Prep Serum

Clean, dry skin. A small amount on face and neck, then about sixty seconds to absorb before the mask goes on. It is water based, so it leaves no film between the LEDs and your face.

3 · Frequency Mist+ Radiance

The finishing step, after your session. A pass across the face and neck. Shake well, spray two or three times.

Step 2 is the mask itself. If your kit already included the serum and the mist, you have the complete ritual in the box. Most people own a mask and skip the other two steps.
